Some light at the end of a difficult period of availabilities sees Fabian Smith and Ryan Whitehurst return to Saturday's squad after missing games via suspension & unavailability. Also some potentially very positive news for our defensive ranks as United hope to include talented central defender Rob Darkin and expect to have the all clear to unveil a top signing from the Evo-Stik premier division before tomorrows game.

The news re Darkin, who signed pre-season from Carlton town is brilliant news, One of the standout central defenders in the Evo-Stik South in the last few seasons, the player has been on a difficult road back from a long injury recuperation that ruled him out last season. In recent weeks under the careful eye of our medical team Darkin has built fitness and has finally been subject to full scale contact training. Subject to no adverse reaction then he is expected to join Saturday's squad.

As expected central midfielder Lee Hendrie will not be risked given a recent problematic hamstring problem. Martin Holt is missing for two weeks.
