Anderson is a class exciting player that fits the mould perfectly for the club, and has been in a good vein of form for Calrton registering goals and playing well. Greatly admired and followed by United for the last 3 seasons it represents a big signing to get him to the club, especially when other Evo Stik clubs were in for the lad after it became clear that Carlton were prepared to let the lad go. Thankfully great work by our Management team proved the difference so the lad is with us and joins other big signings in the last week, Lee Hendrie
& Sam Craven.
Signing Fri Blair started yesterdays game on the bench and got a late run out but he will without question become a key performer as United continue to gather momentum.

Great credit needs to go to Lee Hendrie and the rest of the United lads yesterday in what was a very intimidating atmosphere at Heanor. Hendrie was subjected to alot of rough treatment but kept his composure and registered another impressive performance as United put in a very high calibre performance to beat a red hot Heanor outfit.

Yesterdays vicitory set United up for the 1st team night out last evening which i understand was a great success.

Basford have no midweek action this week, so plenty of focus can go on this weekends vistors to Greenwich Avenue in highly fancied Thackley.
