Liam has been appointed as Head Lead Coach for the Basford Community programme, working with teams from six to sixteen years and takes on a full time coaching role.
Chairman Chris Munroe commented:
“I am delighted that we now have Liam full time, he will be a fabulous mentor for our junior coaches and will relate perfectly to the younger players who can take an inspiration from his life story and benefit from his excellent communication skills.”
Josh will take on responsibility for social media and website activities.
Munroe said:
“Josh feels a big gap but has all the attributes to be a huge success in this important role. He will report directly to new Vice Chairman Tom Brookbanks.
The appointments are clear evidence of the club’s ambition and determination to move forward as we embark on another chapter on the history of Basford United.
