The club are really sorry for the young lad who went down 1 minute from the end of the session last night after a nothing challenge. Josh went straight to QMC and was diagnoised with a broken ankle which will require a further X Ray next week.Early estimates point to a 3 to 4 month absence.
Young Downie who is a top keeper in the making is our current Under 19 keeper and has made a big impact with the club. Without question the lad will bounce back from this and is a 1st team prospect in the making.
The club will look at a means of raising some funds for the lad who is on a full time educational program at South Notts college.
