Basford United Football Club can confirm a temporary ground share agreement with Kimberley Miners Welfare Football Club, who will play their home fixtures at Greenwich Avenue during the 2025/26 season.
The arrangement ensures Kimberley can meet all their matchday obligations while work continues on upgrades to their own facilities, which are expected to be completed later in the season.
Kimberley Chairman Ryan Doherty commented:
*"We are really pleased that this has now been ratified, and we can now look forward to the fixture release.
"Greenwich Avenue is one of the best football venues in the region and I know our first team are very much looking forward to playing on Basford's premier 4G surface.
"For our supporters, we know there will be some short-term inconvenience, but we hope as many as possible will join us on this short trip up the A610."Basford United Football Club can confirm a temporary ground share with Kimeberley Miners Welfare Football Club o will play their home games at Greenwich Avenue for the 2025/26 season.
