The tough tackling but highly talented Centre Half arrived at Greenwich Avenue from Step 5 Newark & Sherwood United in February and quickly settled in the back line, registering several set piece goals in the process.

Manager Willis Francis said the following;

"It's fantastic. To have been able to secure Willow to Basford. He shows the heart, desire and will to win that we are looking for. He is a good young player that we are looking to develop and I'm sure he will be a leader for Basford for many years to come."

Willo said the following after putting pen to paper;

"Our focus will be very much on going straight back up but a lot of hard work is needed for that to happen, I’m looking forward to going again in what will definitely be a tough league"
