Derby day coming up at the Avenue...

Derby day is just around the corner as Ilkeston Town make the short trip down the A610 to Greenwich Avenue on Saturday, September 16 (3pm).

Always an eagerly anticipated clash, we're expecting a busy one for the visit of Ian Deakin's side, with a number of our junior teams expected to partake as mascots in both pre-match and half-time activities.

We're also bringing back the happy hour-and-a-half for the occasion, as well as live football on the box.

Wolves host Liverpool at midday (12.30pm kick-off) and, from 1pm, you can enjoy it with a pint of draft beer for just £3.50, or Madri and IPA at just £4.

The club will also be arranging a collection for Tina Trueman - a well-loved member of our catering staff - who is currently suffering with ill health.

There will be buckets on the turnstile for any donations made on arrival, as well as in our clubhouse and kitchens for anyone wishing to make an appreciated contribution throughout the day.

An online GoFundMe page will be set up by the family in due course.

ADULTS: £10
