We are delighted to announce the arrival of 21-year-old midfielder Jordan Fankwe on a permanent basis after recently leaving Salford City FC.

Originally from Cameroon, Fankwe moved to Nottingham at the age of 14. He was offered a trial at Nottingham Forest after being scouted playing football on the streets of Nottingham.

In January 2023, Jordan was offered his first professional contract at Watford FC where he spent the next 7 months before moving to EFL League 2 side Salford City. During his spell at Salford, Jordan spent most of his time playing for the U23s captaining the side occasionally.

Jordan will be in contention to make his united debut on Saturday when we host Matlock Town at Greenwich Avenue (3pm KO).
