Last time out.
We ran out 1-0 winners in a tight contest away to Stalybridge. Callum Chettle struck the only goal of the game in the final ten minutes of the first half. We were later reduced to ten men as Lewis Carr was shown two yellow cards but we did well to hold on for all three points.
Scarborough’s last game also saw them pick up a win as they beat Whitby Town 2-1. Whitby took the lead through Jacob Hazel’s 11th minute spot kick before Michael Coulson levelled things at the break. The game then seemed to be heading for a draw before Nathan Cartman came up with what was the winner.
Last season
We took just one point against Scarborough last season, in what was a 1-1 draw away from home. In that game we had to come from behind after the hosts had taken a 24th minute lead. In the reverse fixture, which was the last game before the 2019/20 season was declared null and void, we were on the wrong side of a 1-0 score line.
