Goodson Stars For Flowserve Walker Helps With Win Hearn Off The Bench Carevll Waits For Debut

On Saturday young striker Zak Goodson fired Newark Flowserve back to the top of the Total Motion Midland Premier Division with a hattrick in their 3-1 victory over AFC Wulfrunians. Winger Jamie Walker also featured in that game earning praise from boss Craig Roche.

Goodson continued his goal scoring antics on Tuesday night when he opened the scoring in Flowserve’s 3-2 win over Selston. Walker, again, was in the starting line-up for that one and helped his new side out with an assist for Ben Hutchinson’s winner

Liam Hearn made a substitute appearance for Tamworth in their 1-0 win over Hitchin Town, playing the last 19 minutes on Saturday. He was then named as an unused substitute for their win away to Alvechurch on Tuesday evening.

Belper Town’s trip to Carlton Town was called off which means James Carvell’s wait for a Belper debut will have to wait until they travel to Spalding United this weekend.
