Basford United Ladies have completed the signing of goalkeeper Paige Johnson on loan from Yorkshire side Doncaster Rovers Belles, with special clearance from East Midlands Regional Women's Football League.
The Nottinghamshire Player has committed to the Amberettes until June 2024.
Johnson, 17, began her playing career in Nottinghamshire with Meden vale back in her very young days, moving to pleasley stags, Nottingham Forest RTC for two Seasons, when she made the move to Doncaster Rovers where she’s has had 2 seasons under her belt. Making a couple of 1st team appearance earlier on in the season and has been playing regularly football with the Reserves.
Johnson comes straight into the 1st team line up, due to our 1st team GK Emma Porter and Kaci Riley still on long term injury list.Goalkeeper Paige Johnson becomes Basford United Ladies third first-team signing since January. 17 year-old Johnson has been Doncaster Rovers Belles Reserve 1st Team Keeper for the past season.
