Jack first arrived at Greenwich Avenue on loan from Doncaster Rovers in February. Prior to joining the Ambers, he had already made 23 first-team appearances for Doncaster Rovers, showcasing his quality and potential. He went on to sign permanently with Basford United in the summer.

Since then, Jack has been a standout performer in the 2025/26 campaign, with one of his early highlights being a memorable equaliser against Sutton Coldfield Town on the opening day of the season.

Although now a professional with Mansfield, Goodman will remain with Basford United until January.
