Our National League Alliance side went in front on Wednesday thanks to Lewis Rourke’s tap in but found themselves behind 2-1 early in the second half.
Goals from Ryan Bache and Hasnan Khan put Long Eaton ahead, but Sam Newell capitalised on some fortune just after the hour to slam home the equaliser and ensure that the Academy’s unbeaten start to their Division F campaign remains intact.
