Jack Andrews has mutually agreed to leave the club in search of regular first team football elsewhere.
The midfielder arrived in late-September following the appointments of James Jepson and Danny Holmes and made his debut two days later in the 3-0 win over Gainsborough Trinity.
He then featured in defeats at Marske United and Stratford Town but has since found appearances limited.
Manager Jepson said: "After taking stock and assessing the squad over the last few weeks, we have agreed it’s better for Jack to move on and find regular first team football.
"We are looking to add and strengthen in the coming weeks so, unfortunately, we have to reduce the numbers to make that happen"
Everyone at Basford United wishes Jack all the very best moving forward and thanks him for his time and efforts whilst with us.
