The 29-year-old arrives with a strong pedigree, having previously featured for Chesterfield, Stockport County, Boston United, and Matlock Town. A product of the Sheffield United Academy, Dimaio made his first-team debut for the Blades in March 2014 against Crawley Town. He went on to make two more appearances that season, earning the club’s Young Player of the Year award.

On the international stage, Dimaio has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-16 and Under-17 levels, before receiving a call-up to the Under-19 squad in August 2013. He made his U19 debut in a friendly against Norway and later featured in two matches against Mexico U20s in May 2014.

With a wealth of experience and a strong footballing background, Connor adds further quality and depth to our midfield options.
