Basford United Ladies captain Keeley Sanderson and her partner Craig are organising a Charity football match to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. The game will be played on Friday 8th March 2024 with a 7pm kick-off.

There will be an entry fee of £2 with gates opening at 6pm. The bar will also be open for all. A raffle will also be in action with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK!

It would be great to see as many people down supporting Keeley, Craig and Cancer Research UK in what will be a great evening for the wider community.

Along with the match, Keeley and Craig will be running the London Landmark Half Marathon again to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

If you are unable to make the game and you wish to contribute to the cause, you can do so by donating to Keeley’s giving page: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/keeleys-giving-page-143

Keeley penned the following…

“On the 7th of April, myself and my partner Craig are partaking in the London Landmark Half Marathon in aid to raise money for Cancer Research UK”

“Last February, my beautiful mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and skin cancer. Luckily, it was caught early, and she was able to have the necessary surgery to remove the cancer completely. My mum has completed both six sessions of chemotherapy and nine sessions of radiotherapy. There are no words to describe how proud I am of my mum
to this day, my mum is clear of cancer and is back doing the things she loves, spending time with her children, family, friends and just recently joined back at the gym”

“Without the funds for research and treatment, my mum may have not been so lucky. Sadly, my Nan was one of those who lost her battle to cancer. She is deeply missed by many!
1 in 10 are diagnosed with cancer every day, support me in making a difference and donate what you can”

Thank you in advance.
