It will the club’s first game at Step 3 of the non-league pyramid.
Martin Carruthers commented:
”Hyde is a very good set up and they have a very knowledgeable management team.
“They have been promoted like us so I’m sure like us they are really excited and looking forward to a new challenge.
“I’m sure both teams will want to get points on the board early doors, but as the home team the onus will be on them to be the more attacking team.
“We had them watched Saturday and they are very organised defensively and are very good from set pieces so we will be working hard in training to ensure we limit the amount of free kicks we give away in dangerous areas.
“They have good movement high up the pitch and Chib Chalika once of Notts County is a real threat. He will have to be marked well all game and we know he is a real handful and a goal scoring threat.
“We know it is an extremely difficult place to go, but we will be going all out to get a positive result.
“The challenges of a higher league are clear to see with the quality of players in opposing teams. Game management, limiting mistakes, and being clinical when you have not played well will be critical this season.
“The fine lines between success and failure will be crucial when providing the players with the fine detail needed to win games at this level.
“Whilst there is an air of uncertainty of what we will face, we know we have an abundance of quality within our ranks and want to have a right go and see where it takes us.”
