Warrington are two points behind us in the table with two games in hand, so a tough game is in prospect.
Martin Carruthers said:
“We will be without Matt Thornhill and also Deon Meikle and we will see how Dom Roma comes through this week. Fernando Bell-Toxtle has gone on loan at Grantham for a month to gain valuable match fitness. Other than that we are looking much stronger with players back from injury and bolstering the squad.
“We have had Warrington watched and we know they are one of the best sides in the league. They started like a house on fire and are still right up there with games in hand. It will be our toughest test of the season and the start of a very tough run of games. They are an excellent footballing side so we know we will have to stick to our game plan if we are to get anything from this game.
“They are very tight defensively and don’t concede many so I doubt it will be a thriller, but a tightly contested affair and hopefully we can pick up a positive result. We are in a great run of form and we just want to keep grinding results out and staying within the leading pack.
“Who knows where it will take us.”
