Speaking ahead of the trip to The Oval’s 3G surface, Martin Carruthers said:
“Bedworth are in a rich vein of form and it will be an exciting top of the table clash. They are a totally different proposition to when we met earlier in the season and are flying high.
“They have a formidable home record and have only lost once early on in the season, to Belper,so it will be our hardest away game to date. They have a nice blend of experience and youth and do like to get the ball down and play.
“We had a real scare against Leek last Saturday and if we start the game like we did then there will be only one outcome and our unbeaten record will be gone. Bedworth will be looking at automatic promotion now after their great run and they will I’m sure give us a stern test.”
Carruthers also had news of fans favourites Matt Thornhill and Courey Grantham:
“Matty Thornhill has been resting and should be back in the squad for the Peterborough Sports game on 20 January. Courey Grantham has dual signed for Shepshed in the Midland League so he can get some valuable match fitness although he could feature for us in the Senior Cup game against Kimberley on Tuesday night.”

Michael Leslie looked forward to the Community game, saying:
“This will be our first game since 23rd December, due to our fixtures being cancelled for poor weather conditions. I am really impressed with the professionalism the players have shown over the Christmas and New year period, and have applied themselves well during the training sessions we have completed over this time.
“Although we are full of confidence, we are expecting another tough match, facing a physical Sandiacre side who I managed to watch in their impressive 3-3 draw with Magdala FC last weekend.”
