Basford United stormed into the next round of the Emirates FA Cup with a commanding 5–0 win over local rivals Hucknall Town.
After a competitive first half where both sides created chances, the game came alive after the break.
On the hour mark, captain Henri Wilder rose highest to head home from a Hallam corner. Just two minutes later, Hallam set up Cummings, who powered his finish past Smith-Eccles to double the lead.
Wilder struck again on 73 minutes, once more meeting Hallam’s delivery with a firm header. Four minutes later, Goodman tapped in after Wilder’s fierce strike slipped through the keeper.
The scoring was completed on 79 minutes when Cummings punished a defensive error, sealing the win.
