The striker has penned a deal until May 2022 after a spell of impressive performances for Steve Chettle’s side both in pre-season and at the start of the new season.

We signed the forward midway through last season but he was limited to seven appearances, coming more into Chettle’s plans towards the end of the campaign. However, this season has seen him feature in every game so far and cement his place in the starting XI with a string of impressive performances that have seen him rewarded with this new deal.

And our boss Chettle is glad that this deal has been agreed.

He said: “I’m delighted that Rev has extended his deal at Basford United until the end of season 2022.

“Rev had limited game time last season due to players having success in the team but he was always ready and prepared to give his all when called upon.

“He has had a great pre-season and played in all of the opening games of this season.

“Rev is the future of the Football Club and with his continued learning from all the players and staff, we hope that he continues with his progress and help the Club keep moving forwards.”
