Basford United recorded back to back wins for the first time this season with a 3-1 win away at Bamber Bridge. Michael Fowler gave the hosts a 1-0 lead at the break, an advantage they kept until Liam Hearn got an equaliser.
Nat Watson put Basford ahead with 16 minutes left on the clock and the win was confirmed when Courey Grantham fired into the back of the net.
Carlton Town were winners by the same score line as they beat Newcastle Town at home. Ryan McClean put the visitors ahead before Martin Bell equalised at the end of the first half. And two goals within five second half minutes from Tyler Blake were enough for Town to take all three points.

The last time the two sides met was in the 2017/2018 season, with Basford winning both encounters.
The first meeting at Greenwich Avenue saw Basford comfortable 6-2 winners. Goals from Fernando Bell-Toxtle, Liam Hearn and Kieran Wells put Basford 3-0 ahead before Kaylum Mitchell pulled a goal back. Ashley Grayson added a fourth before both Wells and Hearn scored again. Jordan Wilson added a late consolation for the visitors in the last minute of the game.
The reverse fixture was a much closer affair. Richard Duffy put Basford 1-0 ahead at the break before two goals in two minutes from Tyler Blake gave Town the lead.
Basford were back on level terms in the 76th minute when Hearn scored and in the 90th minute Basford got a winner when Kieran Fenton found the back of the net.
